We will be upgrading Zimbra from 6.0.6 to 6.0.7p1 tonight around 10:00PM EST tonight… expect the system to be down for approx :15-:30 per server while we apply this update as well as some OS updates…

6.0.7 Key Enhancements:
41037 – Outlook 2010 support
20344 – Easier way to enter appointment times into Calendar
45520 – Display Briefcase upload quota
44885 – Option to disable attendee edits to appointments
27959 – Ability to create an appointment from an ICS attachment
43179 – Do not end autocomplete on a comma
46264 – ClassNotFoundException in LDAP code fixed

Zimbra also has an extension framework that allows funtionality to be added to your Zimbra client using something called a Zimlets… We don’t normally make many of these available because we want to keep the system as stable as possible, since not all Zimlets are products of “Zimbra”… don’t want to pollute the waters so to speak…

But… there are five that we are going to make widely available tonight and they should show up in your Zimlet list or you may need to go into Preferences under Zimlets and enable them:

4. Contact Cleaner (see here for details)
5. Drag and Drop fille attachments for FireFox 3.6.x

It should be noted that you will need to use the Zimbra Web Client to take advantage of these new features…
